What happened

Orlando was the largest MINECON to that point, with 7,500 tickets released in three batches of 2,500 at $150 each.

It was the last MINECON to run the official costume and build contests, and every attendee went home with a LEGO Steve figure.

The cape, jade green with a piston on the back, was emailed to ticket holders on 30 October, a few days before the show.

Why collectors care

Supply is capped by the 7,500 tickets that were sold, and the piston artwork is one of the more recognisable event capes in the game.

A cape cannot be detached from the account that earned it. There is no trade, no gift, no transfer. The only way the 2013 cape moves is if the whole account moves with it, which is the market CNKT works in.

Chasing a rare account?
